FIRST BAPTIST BRUCETON Ministry Staff

Josh Franks, originally from Waynesboro Tennessee, grew up in a good home and went to church with good people. Before accepting a call to full-time ministry, he worked in a hospital where he performed MRI and CT. After submitting to the call to ministry he attended Liberty University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. 

Josh came to saving faith at a young age and has dedicated his entire life to the Lord. It’s why he went to seminary. It’s why he loves the local church. Josh loves to tell people about who Jesus is, what He has done in his own life, and what He can do in the lives of other people. 

Josh became the Pastor of First Baptist Bruceton in 2016. Under his leadership the church has seen remarkable growth, both numerically and spiritually. Additionally, Josh serves on the Executive Board of the Tennessee Baptist Convention and is a writer for the Baptist and Reflector.

When he’s not at church, Josh is usually at home hanging out with Alisha, his wife and best friend, or in the back yard playing ball with his two boys Noah and Josiah. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves any activity that allows him to enjoy God's creation.
